Do I really need to hire a wedding planner?

It is definitely possible to do it all yourself, but planning your wedding should be fun and stress-free.  Italy is one of the top destinations in the world for weddings but can be tough on the bureaucratic side.  We'll guide you through the process step by step, ensuring everything is done correctly and on time.  In terms of planning the event, you can determine the level of support you require without the stress of overseeing every step in the process.

When is the best time to have a wedding in Italy?

If you are considering an outdoor wedding, the best time would be mid-April to mid-October.  However, we are fortunate in the South to enjoy quite mild weather year round.

Where do you organise weddings?

We are based in the beautiful cliffside town of Polignano a Mare in the region of Puglia.  Most of our preferred venues and suppliers are within a 30 minute drive of the town and we know most of them personally.  However, we can also assist with weddings in other parts of Puglia and Italy so if you have a particular place in mind, let us know.

Will you be present on the day of the wedding?

Yes.  One or both of us will be there with you every step of the way.  Our role is to coordinate all the logistics, suppliers, deliveries, resolve any issues, last-minute changes and every other little detail.  We'll also guide the couple and their guests throughout the day.

What type of ceremonies do you offer?

We currently offer Catholic Church, civil  and symbolic ceremonies.  All are offered by English language celebrants.

Can we have a same-sex wedding in Italy?

Yes, finally you can.  (hooray!)

How do you calculate your fee?

Our fee is based on the level of service you require.  After our initial (free) consultation, we'll send you a breakdown of the services we can offer and the costs involved.  Our quotations are all-inclusive and there are no hidden costs.

How much communication will we have with the wedding planner?

This is completely up to you!  We know that every couple is different and don't put a limit on our interaction.  We will respond to queries within 48 hours and will be contactable at all times while you are in Italy.  That said, some couples prefer to share their vision and then leave it in our capable hands and that's fine with us too.

Do you organise pre and post wedding parties?

Yes! Whether you'd like Pizza, BBQ, street food, cocktails... we can help with this.  A number of our venues also offer multi-day events, which are very popular with our clients.

​

Can you help with flights and accommodation?

Although our packages don't include these services, we can certainly give you recommendations for when to fly and the best places to stay.
